Facade Access Equipment Evaluation & Design
Tiber Engineering Group provides façade access equipment design, rehabilitation, testing, and inspections in accordance with the most up-to-date OSHA regulations and IWCA I-14.1 Standard. Services include annual roof anchor inspections and 10-year roof anchor load testing certifications for residential and commercial buildings. An anchorage layout drawing and detailed compliance report are provided to summarize the quantity, quality, and usage applications of the anchorages that exist on each building.
Retrofit Roof Anchor Design
Tiber Engineering Group specializes in the efficient design of retrofit anchor systems for buildings that do not provide compliant access to the façade.
Tiber Engineering Group has designed anchor systems for hundreds of buildings in the mid-Atlantic region.
Our design services include all phases starting from determining if the building has adequate equipment to the final load testing certification of the installed equipment.
Roof Anchor Load Testing and Certification
In accordance with the recently adopted OSHA 1910.27, load testing of roof anchors shall be performed every 10 years (every 5 years for anchors installed with adhesive anchors in accordance with ASME A120).
Tiber Engineering Group conducts load tests on all types of façade equipment which includes roof anchors, davit bases, davit arms, outriggers, monorails, etc.
The load testing is performed under the supervision of a registered licensed professional engineer. The final load test report is signed/sealed by a licensed professional engineer.
Annual Roof Anchor Inspections
In accordance with OSHA regulations and applicable ANSI standards, an annual inspection of the façade access equipment is required every year.
The annual inspection report is signed/sealed by a licensed professional engineer.
Low Slope Roof Fall Protection Assessment and Design
Tiber Engineering Group performs assessment of fall protection on low slope roofs for both high-rise and low-rise buildings. Our assessment will determine if adequate fall protection is provided, and will provide recommendations to address areas of inadequate fall protection.
Low slope all protection systems are required on all buildings where there is an exposure to a fall greater than 4’.
Low slope fall protection systems include OSHA compliant parapets, warning line systems, guardrails, anchors, horizontal lines, etc.
